What is the Abu Dhabi Irish Society?
The Abu Dhabi Irish Society is an informal organization dedicated to enriching the lives of Irish people and friends of Ireland in Abu Dhabi, and to improving and ties between the people of Ireland and Abu Dhabi.
That's the formal stuff! We do have fun, when we are not getting all pompous.

Membership Application
It's a snip. Just 120 a year for families, or 60 dirhams for singles. Come along, join in, vote, have fun.
- Membership Form: Microsoft Word (right-click, save to your computer), Acrobat (click to open). Bring along your completed membership forms to the next Irish Society event and give them to any committee member.
Extraordinary General Meetings
Two recent Extraordinary General Meetings made small changes to the constitution.
An EGM in October 2007 saw a formal coming together of the Abu Dhabi Na Fianna with the Abu Dhabi Irish Society, and this is reflected adding of an addendum to the first article of the constitution:
"The Abu Dhabi Irish Society and the Abu Dhabi Na Fianna will act as one body under the name of the Abu Dhabi Irish Society in the pursuit of the aims of the society."
An EGM in December 2007 saw a simplification of the membership types.

Mission Statement
Ours is to be a social and cultural outlet for Irish people and their friends in Abu Dhabi by arranging events, classes, get-togethers and functions, for members, friends and families, and by supporting charitable organizations here and in Ireland.
