Ciarraí Abu!
Well, what can we say, we stole the day,
From Billy Morgan's boys on the field of play,
In a blaze of green and gold we fought,
To retain the title that the Rebels sought.
The Kerry team assumed its roles,
With Donaghy's and the Gooch's goals,
Paving the path to victory,
What compelling viewing for all to see!
Kerry supporters gathered far and wide,
Not only in Croker, to cheer on their side,
From Korea to Iraq, and the UAE,
A win was for the spectators the key.
And once again they did us proud,
When the final score proved to the crowd,
That the Kingdom for the 35th time reigned supreme,
With ten points between them, it was rather extreme!
So the Sam is on its way once more,
To the towns and the villages that are at the core,
Of that great tradition forever true,
That's Kerry football, Ciarraí Abu!
